When dogs are properly socialized they are more confident and less stressed through their entire life.<\/div>\n
Dogs are context thinkers and learners.\u00a0 Which means, they learn as a matter of the result and\/or situation.<\/div>\n

\u00a0The best time to start exposing dogs to socialization is during the critical stage known as imprinting.\u00a0 This is typically at the age of\u00a0 eight to twelve weeks old.\u00a0 However, it is important to always keep socializing your dog and doing this activity in\u00a0different locations and situations.\u00a0 Never stop socializing and exposing\u00a0\u00a0your dog to new situations!<\/div>\n
When exposing your dog to new situations keep it short, upbeat and give lots of high value treats.\u00a0 Always keep your dog under control and safe.<\/div>\n

Exposure to adults and children is a must.\u00a0 However, timing and making it positive are\u00a0important too.<\/div>\n
