Targeted TNR, the concentrated trapping and spay/neuter of high percentages of free-roaming cats in high need areas, is another approach we have practiced and spread. The first mass-manufactured drop trap, an important tool for trapping hard-to-catch cats, was co-designed by us, as well as a host of other feral cat-specific equipment. Because we are involved with the cats directly, we see what is needed and then make it happen.

WE CREATE

The unique talent of Neighborhood Cats is our ability to take what we learn and pass it on to others, saving them time and advancing the field as a whole. We produced the video How to Perform a Mass Trapping and authored the Neighborhood Cats TNR Handbook, the first comprehensive guide of its kind. That’s not all because of us – we have great collaborative partners – but our work has played an important role.
