America\u2019s Official Cat Museum, The Feline Historical Museum, Is Right Here In Ohio<\/h1>\n

If you didn\u2019t know that Ohio was home to America\u2019s official cat museum, you probably didn\u2019t know that Ohio is also home to the Cat Fanciers\u2019 Association (CFA) Headquarters. The Feline Historical Museum in Alliance is housed on the first floor of the CFA headquarters, which showcases all things cat themed. If you know a cat lover or two\u2014or maybe you\u2019ve got a few feline friends of your own\u2014this is one road trip stop in the Buckeye State you simply have to make.<\/p>\n

Rumor has it, there is also a bank vault filled with cat dolls, according to RoadsideAmerica.com.<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n
One of the most interesting exhibits is probably the cat house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.<\/figcaption>

At the back of the museum, you’ll find a small library of around 700 books about cats, as well as some unique history related to CFA and cat shows.<\/figcaption>

You can visit the museum on Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.<\/figcaption>
